Data Architect

About the role

SoftwareOne is seeking a Data Architect to design, optimize, and evolve modern data ecosystems that enable business decisions, analytics, and innovation. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high‑performing data solutions across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data architectures, data models, and integration frameworks.
• Develop, optimize, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines and data‑flow processes.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and implement data solutions that support growth and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Advanced English proficiency and ability to work in multicultural environments.

Required skills

• SQL, Python, Spark, Airflow.
• ETL/ELT tools: Informatica, Talend, Pentaho, AWS Glue.
• Relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Big Data and cloud technologies: Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Data visualization and governance tools: Tableau, Power BI, Kafka, NiFi, Collibra, Apache Atlas.
