About the role

Colegio Menor, a private PG‑12 liberal arts school in Quito, is seeking a dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to join its English immersion program. The successful candidate will work in a multicultural, inclusive environment that values goodness, beauty, and truth, helping young learners become intelligent, well‑rounded thinkers, makers, and doers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English‑language lessons for 1st‑grade students.
• Adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs and abilities of each child.
• Maintain a safe, supportive classroom that promotes the welfare of all pupils.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create customized learning experiences.
• Participate in safeguarding procedures and adhere to national and international vetting requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in early childhood or primary education.
• Commitment to inclusive education, respecting all races, abilities, religions, genders, and cultures.
• Willingness to undergo criminal record checks in all countries of residence over the past ten years.
• Passion for fostering curiosity, kindness, and truth in young learners.
